Heterogeneous workshops for ordinary and extraordinary children.

What is the concept behind the "heterogeneous" workshops?

It is the artistic meeting between people from different worlds (some with a disability others not) who often don’t get to create together or even run into each other.  In this encounter, differences no longer exist as such encounters enable the participants to overcome the barriers implicitely set by society.

 

The workshops are based on voice, music and movement in order to create something together.  They will enable the children to perceive things differently and develop their sense of perception as together they learn to respect everyone’s rhythm and needs, including their own.

 

Different themes can be adressed and adapted depending on the age and needs of the group, or the theme of the exhibit.

 

Different themes exploited in previous workshops  with the collaboration of the Youth Services of the entity of Seneffe  are :

- a shadow theatre

- shadow puppets

- commedia dell’arte

- Living paintings – travelling museum
